6DoIT - panel spread.

This is a 6-panel spread called "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence", inspired by the Dream Theater album of the same name. The album is split into 6 songs, the last being Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence - which itself is split into 8 tracks. The recording is a concept album wherein the five songs which comprise the first disc explore different themes of lifetime struggle, such as Alcoholism, Loss of Faith and Death. The sixth song—-that is, the complete second disc—-explores the stories of six individuals suffering from various mental illnesses. Particularly represented are manic depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, delusions of grandeur, psychosis, post-partum depression, and major trauma resulting in blackouts.

In a sense, it corrilates directly to the album, which itself expands on the more and more complicated and complex struggles and mental illnesses as you move from panel to panel - the abstract "form" becoming more complicated, leading up to the image I uploaded last night [link]

Edit: someone brought up an interesting angle to look at with this piece: creationism - 6 days, 6 panels of progression, etc. Interpret it how you see it, thats the beauty of art.
